Kitchen Plant Stand

For the past few months I’ve been keeping my eye out for a small plant stand to put in my kitchen. All I seemed to find were large bulky stands that would take up a lot of space in my small kitchen.  So I was super excited when I found this stand at a warehouse sale. It looked pretty rough, the stand was rusted and the bin was scratched all over, but it was the exact size I was looking for!

Blah...

 

I sanded off the peeling paint and rust on the stand, and painted it with a black Rustoleum paint to keep the rust from bleeding through. I also painted the bin black. Ta-da! A brand new plant stand.

Now comes the hard part, keeping my plants alive!
